Meet Our Facilitators

Founded by two women who understand the profound impact of loss.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to offer a holistic approach to grief support through a non-denominational adult grief share community. We are committed to helping individuals shed the weight of grief connected to death, while bridging the relationship between life and loss. Through sharing, support, and the intentional release of discomfort — Pain OUT, Comfort IN — we hold space in a circle grounded in non-judgmental love, compassion, understanding, and community.

Our Founders

Diana Smith

Co-Founder, CRM, Certified End of Life Death Doula

My name is Diana Smith CRM, CEOLDD. My experience with death began in 1977, while obtaining my LPN at Wichita Practical Nursing school in Kansas. I had to sit with a young man until he expired. That was my first experience with death. From then on, I have been around death often.

My experience with personal grief was in 1986, when I experienced my first miscarriage. I had 4 miscarriages and then my stillborn daughter. The grief at that time was unbearable. I went to a grief support group and started living again.

Due to my losses and the intense grief I was trained by Hospice in Fredrick, MD to become a grief counselor. I started as a volunteer to help Hospice patients and families then became a grief counselor. Some of my training took place at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

When I moved to Lewes, DE, my physician told me that there were no grief support groups in the area and that the hospital did not have a protocol system in place for infant death. So, with the help of the Labor and Delivery Director and CEO of the hospital, we created a protocol for infant loss. I then for 11 years gave a lecture on Death and Dying for the senior graduating class of nurses. I am the founder of Bayside Helping Hands in Lewes, DE to help those survive the struggles associated with grief. Bayside Helping Hands has been operating for 30 years. I have lost many family members and friends, and I have seen what good grief can be and what bad grief can be.

I am an Omnist (I glean wisdom from all of the world's religions and pagan beliefs.) I am very spiritual by nature. I am a Reiki Master in Karuna, Kundalini, and Shaman modalities. I am an animal communicator and reiki healer. I am an energy worker using Crystals and sound vibrations. I am an empath but most of all I am an Earth Keeper.

Because of life experiences and various training over the years, my final path is that of a Certified End of Life Death Doula. I am here to serve those who are dying and those who will feel the grief of loss.

Hello! I am Tiffani Worth (Ruby). In 2023, I began my first real embrace with grief, as I lost my father in what doctors described as a catastrophic life event. I was his caregiver through the last couple years of his lifetime on Earth. I have spent the last couple years fleshing out what that meant for me and my journey, as well as what my Dad's final moments were like. While I received some care and understanding around grief, life and death, nothing really hit home for me. I struggled to find a place to talk about death & grief. I struggled to find a community that was willing to dive deep into grief sharing. I struggle to have normal conversations with people anymore. I saw the world completely different and this was the blessing within my grief I wished to explore more.

In January of 2025, I took the plunge to begin a volunteer journey at Clarehouse, a house for the dying. Clarehouse puts dignity back into death. They do not see death as an emergency, but a rite of passage. They thrive to make this experience as gentle and easy as possible for the dying guest. The community there shines light on many topics, our normal everyday society tends to shy away from. I was met with people that not only wanted to know why I was there to volunteer, but also wanted to help me with my journey.

My passion to work within Death, TOOK OFF! I have found a place that makes more sense to me than the mindless jobs I had in the past. I have worked to build a foundation, humbled to know this journey of knowledge within Life & Death will never end, over the past year. I am a volunteer Care Assist at Clarehouse, where I work hands-on with the dying. I am a certified Death Doula & Level One Sound Bath Facilitator. I am a Mother, Wife, and Friend to many. In my spare time, I work within the realm of Mother Nature, by watching bees as a certified Bee Keeper. Watching the bees is a constant reminder of this cycle we are on, as every season they adjust (die), to keep the hive strong, anchored, and the queen alive.

In late 2025, I felt a strong lack of a Grief Share Circle that embodied the alternative Spiritual (non-denominational) Community. While I see them all the time within churches, there wasn't one that matched my style-leaning more to Mother Nature, the primordial Ancestors of Earth, Air, Wind, & Fire.

Thus, A Circle of Grief was born! I have partnered with my best friend and Death ally, Diana Smith, to hopefully meet the needs of many lost souls to offer a circle of shedding around grief, connecting to Life & Death, with Love, Compassion, & most importantly, COMMUNITY! ALL AUTHENTIC BEEINGS ARE WELCOME IN THIS SPACE! SO IT IS!
